Norton 360 is a popular comprehensive
computer security application suite sold by Symantec Corporation for home and
business use. Norton 360 v3.0 and newer versions of the Symantec product are designed to require minimal configuration after initial installation. You will still need to take manual action to configure the Norton 360 Firewall and Norton 360 Backups after finishing the installation of the program on your computer

Open the Norton 360 Control Panel by double-clicking the "Norton 360" icon on your computer desktop or selecting "Start," "Norton," "Norton 360" from your computer's start menu.

Choose the "Settings" menu option at the top of the Norton 360 Control Panel and then choose the "Firewall" menu option.

Choose the "Program Rules" menu tab. Then single left-click the "Firefox" icon on the listing or applications, and select the "Remove" menu option.

Pick the "Add" menu option. Use the File Chooser to find the Firefox program folder that is normally located in "c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" and choose the "Firefox.exe" application.

Choose the "What Do You Want to Do" field in the "Security Request Window" and select the "Allow" button followed by "OK."

Choose the "Apply" button on the subsequent menu and close the configuration dialogue by clicking the "Close" button or "X" in the upper right hand corner of the window. Close Norton 360 and it will now be configured to work with Firefox.
